Competition Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully. These terms and conditions ("Terms") apply to the Premier Foods "Cadbury Give a Gift" promotion (the "Promotion"). By participating in the Promotion, including by entering online, winning and sharing a link to claim a gift or receiving the link and claiming the gift, you will be legally bound by these Terms.

If there is a conflict in these Terms with any other terms whatsoever attached to any other advertising material in respect of the Promotion, these conditions will take precedence.

The promoter of the Promotion is Premier Foods Group Limited of Premier House, Centrium Business Park, Griffiths Way, St. Albans, Hertfordshire, AL1 2RE (the "Promoter"). The Promoter’s agent handling the administration of this Promotion is 20Ten Creative Limited (the “Agent”). Opening and closing dates, eligibility

  1. The Promotion will begin at 09:00 on 3 April 2024 and end at 08:59 on 26 June 2024 (the "Promotional Period"). All entries into the Promotion online must be received by the end of the Promotional Period. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete, corrupted or not received by the end of the Promotional Period for any reason. Proof of submission shall not be deemed to be proof of receipt.
  2. The Promotion is open to individual entrants who are residents of the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland, aged eighteen (18) years or over. Anyone who is awarded a gift as a result of the Promotion ("Gift") must also be a resident of the United Kingdom or the Republic of Ireland, aged eighteen (18) years or over.
  3. The Promotion is not open to, and Gifts may not be claimed by employees, contractors, representatives, agents, officers or directors of the Promoter, its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, marketing agencies, or to any of their immediate family members or persons living in the same household, whether or not related, or to anyone else professionally connected with the Promotion.
  4. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any participant or claimant of a Gift. The Promoter may require such information as it considers reasonably necessary for this purpose, which may include proof of purchase, identity, age, residency and address. The Promoter may withhold Gifts while it verifies eligibility.
  5. Participants will require internet access, a valid email address, residential address and a valid mobile number to enter the Promotion. No purchase is necessary.
  6. How to participate

  7. To enter the Promotion, participants must do the following:
    1. visit cadbury200giveagift.co.uk (the "website");
    2. complete the online registration form by entering their first name, surname, residential address and mobile number into the website, where indicated;
    3. click "Submit",
    during the Promotional Period.
  8. Participants will be notified instantly on screen whether or not they have been successful. Winners will be required to provide an email address to receive instructions on how to gift the prize won.
  9. Gifts are scheduled as "winning moments" in random and pre-determined time slots (day, hour, minute, second) across the Promotional Period. These random time slots have been generated by computer software.
  10. There are 210 "winning moments" scheduled during the Promotional Period.
  11. Participants will win a Gift for their friend or relative if they click "Submit" on the website at or the soonest after one of the "winning moments". The time at which the participant clicks "Submit" according to the Promoter's systems will be the time used for the "winning moment" mechanism.
  12. There is a maximum of one winner for each "winning moment".
  13. If two entries are received at the same time, the entry processed by the server first will be the winning entry.
  14. If, for any reason, no valid entry is received by the Promoter between one "winning moment" ("first winning moment") and the next ("second winning moment"), the Gift allocated to that "first winning moment" will be rolled over. In this event, the next valid entrant will win the unawarded Gift from the "first winning moment" and the following valid entrant will win the Gift from the "second winning moment".
  15. All Gifts have been made available to be won, but the Promoter makes no guarantee that all Gifts will be won and awarded (e.g. if there is low participation).
  16. Restrictions on Entry

  17. There is a limit of three (3) entries per household per promotion week (a promotion week runs from 09:00 Wednesday to 8:59 the following Wednesday).
  18. Participants who seek to enter more than this limit may be disqualified. Entries generated by script, macro, mechanical or other automated means are prohibited and will cause disqualification. Multiple entries made through agents, third parties, organised groups or any entry duplication method will not be accepted.
  19. Claiming the Gift

  20. Participants who submit a successful entry (verified and valid in accordance with these Terms) will receive an email containing a claim link. Winners will be required to provide their email address at the point that they are notified that they have won on the website.
  21. All emails will be delivered within seven (7) days of the submission of the entry. Participants are encouraged to monitor their email inbox during this time.
  22. Participants can share this claim link with one friend or relative ("Claimant"). Please note that participants need to share the claim link with the Claimant within 14 days of receiving the email and Claimants will need to submit their claim for a Gift via your link, by 23.59 on 25 July 2024. For the avoidance of doubt, participants cannot claim the Gift themselves and the email address and mobile number used to enter the Promotion cannot be used to claim the Gift.
  23. The Gifts

  24. Claimants will require internet access and a valid email address and mobile number to claim the Gift.
  25. Claimants who receive a claim link in accordance with clause 19 of these Terms will need to do the following by 23.59 on 25 July 2024 to claim their Gift:
    1. Visit the website;
    2. Complete the online registration form by entering their first name, surname, email address, residential address and mobile number into the website, where indicated; and
    3. Click "Claim".
  26. The Claimant will receive an email setting out the details of the Gift the Claimant has won.
  27. The following Gifts are available to be won:
    1. 5 x cash gift of £500 for residents of UK or €500 for residents of ROI (to be paid by BACs or cheque, as allocated by the Claimant);
    2. 12 x Apple AirPods with Charging Case (2nd Generation) 2019;
    3. 15 x Ninja Foodi AF400UK 9.5L Dual-Zone Air Fryer;
    4. 15 x Nintendo Switch 1.1 32GB Console with Joy-Con, Neon Red/Blue;
    5. 50 x £50 Amazon gift cards;
    6. 113 x £10 Amazon gift cards.
  28. Claimants who have claimed a Gift in accordance with clause 21, will be contacted by the Promoter or their Agent by email to arrange delivery of their Gift. Further Gift details will be confirmed when the Claimants are contacted. Claimants will be required to arrange delivery of their Gift with the Promoter or their Agent by no later than 25 November 2024.
  29. Where Claimants have been awarded a cash gift, the Promoter will arrange for their agent to transfer £500 or €500 (as applicable) to a bank account nominated by the Claimant, via a secure, encrypted form provided by the Promoter or its Agent, by email. Please note, you will only be required to provide your name, account number and sort code. You will never be asked to provide your sixteen digit card number, card expiry date or your secure code from the back of your debit or credit card and you should not provide this information).
  30. It is the responsibility of the Claimant to provide accurate, up-to-date details. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for Claimants failing to supply accurate information which then affects the acceptance or fulfilment of their Gift.
  31. The gift cards are subject to and must be used in accordance with specific retailer terms and conditions and may be subject to limitations on use and expiry dates. The gift cards are not valid on prior purchases and cannot be used to purchase third party gift cards or vouchers.   32. Lost or stolen gift cards cannot be replaced.
  33. Any issues relating to the Gifts should be directed to the Promoter or its Agent at help@cadbury200giveagift.co.uk.
  34. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any inability of a Claimant to take up the Gift.
  35. The Gifts cannot be sold, transferred or auctioned. Gifts are non-transferable and non-refundable. There is no cash or other alternative, except in circumstances outside the Promoter's control, where the Promoter has the discretion to replace the Gift with an alternative of equal or higher value.
  36. Any Gifts which are not claimed by a Claimant by 23.59 on 25 July 2024 in accordance with clause 19 will become invalid (this does not apply to Gifts gifted from the Wrap Up Draw – please see below). Arrangement for delivery of claimed Gifts must be made by 25 November 2024 or they will become invalid.
  37. Wrap Up Draw

  38. Participants who have submitted a valid entry during the Promotional Period, but do not win a Gift for their friend or family member, will be given an opportunity to opt into a wrap up draw, for each unsuccessful entry, to win a Gift for their friend or relative.
  39. All non-winning entrants who have opted in to the wrap up draw will form a pool and at least two (2) winners will be drawn at random from all valid, non-winning entrants on 29 July 2024 ("Winners").
  40. The following gifts will be available to be won in the Wrap Up Draw:
    1. 2 x £50 Amazon gift cards.
  41. There may be other gifts available to be won if and to the extent that other Gifts aren't claimed through the main part of the Promotion.
  42. Winners will receive an email containing a claim link. Emails will be sent to the email address provided as part of their entry.
  43. All emails will be delivered within seven (7) days of the submission of the entry. Winners are encouraged to monitor their email inbox during this time.
  44. Winners can share this claim link with one friend or relative ("Claimant"). Please note that Winners need to share the claim link with the Claimant within 14 days of the date of receipt of the email. Claimants will need to submit their claim for a Gift via the link, by 23.59 on 29 August 2024. For the avoidance of doubt, Winners cannot claim the Gift themselves and the email address and mobile number used to enter the Promotion cannot be used to claim the Gift.
  45. Claimants should follow the steps set out above in paragraphs 20 – 22 to claim their Gift (but they will have until they have received the claim link in accordance with clause 39 to do so). The terms at paragraphs 24 – 32 will apply (as applicable).
  46. General

  47. To obtain the name and location of the Winners, please email privacy@premierfoods.co.uk within 3 months of the end of the Promotional Period. Please note, where a request is made in accordance with this clause 41, the Promoter will be required to provide your contact details (i.e. name and email address) to its Agency, to facilitate your request. Entrants can object to disclosure or request that disclosure be limited in scope by contacting the Promoter at privacy@premierfoods.co.uk. The Promoter may nevertheless disclose the information to the Advertising Standards Authority if required.
  48. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse any entry, claim or award of Gifts and/or refuse further participation in the Promotion and disqualify the participant and/or the Claimant where it believes there has been a breach of these Terms, the spirit of the promotion, any instructions forming part of this Promotion's entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating or claimed using fraudulent means. The Promoter's decision will be final in this regard.
  49. Any claims made after the latest specified times for making a claim will be deemed as invalid.
  50. Entries and claims which do not include all of the information required will also be deemed as invalid.
  51. Entries and claims that are not submitted in accordance with these Terms or are incomplete, illegible or lost, delayed, damaged or rendered invalid in any way will be disqualified.
  52. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries or claims that are late, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, corrupted or misdirected, whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise.
  53. Any decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  54. The Promoter reserves the right to delay, postpone or cancel the Promotion and/or amend or alter these Terms in the event of circumstances outside its reasonable control, which it considers make it necessary for it to do so.
  55. The Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for (a) any codes, entries or notifications which are not received due to the use of incorrect or inaccurate entry information, any faulty or failed electronic data transmissions, or for any other reason; (b) any unauthorised access to, or theft, destruction or alteration of entries at any point in the operation of the Promotion; (c) any technical malfunction, failure, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, computers or providers used in any aspect of the operation of the Promotion; (d) inaccessibility or unavailability of any network or wireless service, the Internet and/or any website; or (e) any injury or damage to any person’s computer(s) or mobile device(s) which may be related to or result from any attempt to participate in the Promotion or to download any materials in connection with the Promotion.
  56. The Promoter will award the Gifts as described in these Terms, but the Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for the Claimant’s use of the Gift.
  57. Gifts supplied under third-party brands or by any third-party company or entity are in no way affiliated with this Promotion and shall not have any responsibility or liability to any entrant or Claimant under or in connection with this Promotion. Your statutory rights are not affected.
  58. If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
  59. Any personal information supplied in connection with the Promotion will be used, shared and retained as set out in the Privacy Notice of the Promoter posted at https://www.cadbury200giveagift.co.uk/privacy.act
  60. The Promotion and these Terms (including any non-contractual disputes or claims arising out of them) are subject to English law. Any disputes must be referred to the English and Welsh courts. Consumers in Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland may additionally bring an action in their home courts.
